Vicky Kaushal revealed that he used to call his wife, actress Katrina Kaif, before every shot while filming his upcoming movie Sam Bahadur.
Kaushal plays the lead role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in the film, and he said he needed Kaif’s support to get into character.
I would call her before every shot, Kaushal said in a recent interview.
She would give me a pep talk, and then I would go for the shot. Kaushal described Kaif as his biggest supporter on set.
They got married in December 2021 after dating for several years.

Meghna Gulzar directs Sam Bahadur and stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra.
The film is set to be released in December 2023.
