Nusrat Jahan fraud case is a new trending topic in West Bengal, India.
Nusrat Jahan, a famous Bengali actress, and Trinamool Congress MP, is accused of financial fraud.
A complaint has been made by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

The case is ten years old and involves a fraud allegation worth several hundred crore rupees.
News sources say that 429 people have accused Nusrat Jahan of cheating them by promising flats at attractive prices of 5.5 lakhs each.
The investors claim she diverted their payment for the apartments.
Another complaint was made by Suvendu Adhikari, a BJP leader, who stated that the investors were assured flats in a project called The Address in Kolkata.
However, the project never started, and Jahan and her partners allegedly took the investors’ money.
Adhikari has evidence to support his claims, such as emails and bank statements. He has also filed a case in the Alipore court requesting a CBI investigation.
Nusrat Jahan denies involvement in financial fraud and misappropriations.
Her position as an actress and Member of Parliament has caused controversy.
The BJP supports the investors who filed complaints against her. The ED is investigating the matter.
If the allegations are true, Jahan could face legal consequences. She is also involved in other controversies.
A Kolkata court declared her marriage to businessman Nikhil Jain invalid in 2021. The CBI is also investigating her for a coal smuggling case.
