The war movie Pippa, featuring Ishaan Khatter, won’t be shown in theaters. Instead, it will debut on OTT.
The film was initially scheduled to come out on December 2, 2023, but the makers have decided to release it on OTT instead because of uncertainty in the theatrical market.
Pippa is a movie based on a book called The Burning Chaffees. The book is written by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta and it tells the story of the Battle of Garibpur in 1971.
In this battle, 41 Pakistani soldiers surrendered to two Indian officers, Captain Balram Singh Mehta and Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal.
