Halle Berry, the renowned Hollywood actress, and her husband, Olivier Martinez, have officially filed for divorce after being together for eight years.
The couple married in July 2013 and had Maceo-Robert in October. They got divorced in October 2015, two years after getting married.
However, sources close to the couple have revealed that they have been living separately for a while now, leading to their decision to end their marriage.
Speculations about trouble in paradise had been circulating for months as Berry and Martinez were seen attending public events alone without each other.
Despite efforts to save their relationship through counseling and therapy, irreconcilable differences ultimately led them down the path of separation.
The details of their divorce settlement are not public, but it is known that Berry will pay Martinez $8,000 per month for child support.

She will also give him 4.3% of any income she earns over $2 million. Berry and Martinez met while working on the movie Dark Tide in 2012.
This is Berry’s third divorce. She married baseball player David Justice from 1993 to 1997 and model Gabriel Aubry from 2005 to 2010.
Berry has a 15-year-old daughter named Nahla with Aubry. Martinez has also been married twice before.
He married model Melanie Laurent from 2000 to 2006 and singer Pamela Anderson from 2007 to 2008. Both Berry and Martinez have confirmed this information.
Berry and Martinez both said they would co-parent Maceo and stay friends.
