Dev Anand‘s Juhu bungalow was sold to a real estate company for Rs. 400 crores.
The company plans to demolish the bungalow and build a 22-story tower.
The bungalow was in a prime location in Juhu, surrounded by other celebrity and industrialist bungalows.
It was spacious and held sentimental value for Dev Anand and his family.
However, Dev Anand’s children, Suniel and Devina, decided to sell it because it was challenging to maintain, and they only used it occasionally as they lived outside of Mumbai.
Dev Anand’s bungalow sale shows how Mumbai is changing.
